** Job Description
** The
** Director, Pediatric Portfolio & Pipeline (USCL)**, is a key position responsible for commercial leadership of our portfolio of 5 inline vaccines. This role is P&L responsible for a significant revenue base with intensifying competition.
Given the size of the revenue base the ideal candidate will already have significant commercial and P&L leadership experience and can clearly point to a track record of success in product launch, driving growth and managing competition.
This leadership role requires leading edge marketing capabilities and contemporary, innovative approaches to target business opportunities.
The ideal candidate must be able to lead both horizontally and vertically within our company as well as bringing an enterprise mindset to this position.
** Key Responsibilities will include:
** Lead strategic direction and execution for Pediatric portfolio, defending against competition to meet/exceed financial objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to leading the following:
* Identification of new growth segments
* Development and execution of competitive strategies
* Refinement of promotion strategies to maximize opportunity
* Development and execution of non-personal promotion resources
* Integration of digital, data and analytics to drive most effective decision-making and execution
* Collaboration with Global Pricing, Contracting & Distribution Strategies team, and vaccines brand teams to refine pricing and contracting strategy
* Lead development of revenue forecast and promotion budget
* Lead a team of direct reports to accomplish launch and execution goals
** Education Minimum Requirement:
**
* Required:
BA/BS
* Preferred: MBA, Master’s Degree
** Required
Experience and Skills:
*** Minimum of ten (10) years combined experience in marketing, commercial strategy/strategic planning, market research, sales, and/or marketing support.
* Prior in line P&L leadership experience is essential
* Strong demonstrated people and cross-functional leadership.
* Experience leading teams in a solid line and matrix environment.
* Strong executive presence / demonstrated ability to credibly engage with Senior/Executive leadership.
* Successful commercial experience leading brands across therapeutic areas.
* Strong demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs.
* Excels at navigation of a volatile and complex environment while making decisions with confidence.
