General FunctionThe Target Optical Regional Manager ensures successful results in the region by delivering the Brand Promise:
Simple, Fun, and In-Style. The role demonstrates and creates entrepreneurial leaders with initiative, persistence, commitment, persuasion, and problem solving while modeling an eye for fashion attitude.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build plans to deliver profitable regional sales.
- Ensure the regional delivery of a simple, fun, and in-style fashion experience.
- Ensure each store has a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target host through regular co-planning.
- Proactively recruit, hire, train, develop, motivate and retain brand-right team members (OTL/OTM).
- Provide team members feedback to hold accountable for their goals and job responsibilities.
- Ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level, including merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing programs and promotions, accurate completion of all sales transactions, and utilization of all sales strategies and resources.
- Proactively recruit and select brand-right team members with the goal of long-term retention and bench strengths.
- Establish a recruiting network for doctors within the industry to enable the recruitment and selection of brand-right doctors for all locations.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years retail management experience with a proven track record of sales growth.
- 2+ years multi-unit store management experience.

- Extensive travel required; up to 60%.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
