THE POSITION

DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
This position supports the Transportation Division by helping manage vehicle information, service activity, and related documentation. The role contributes to the smooth functioning of a major automotive fleet. As a Management Technician, you will perform the following duties:
- System Administration:
Enter service records, maintain system access, troubleshoot issues, and update system features to meet business needs - Repair Review:
Examine vendor repair estimates, verify costs, and work with Troop personnel or vendors to resolve concerns - Vehicle Intake Processing:
Prepare and review documents for titling, invoices, and new or seized vehicles - Vehicle Disposition:
Process vehicles for auction pickup, verify coding, and coordinate fuel card termination - Toll Account Monitoring:
Update EZ Pass information, review toll violations, and forward information to Stations for appeal or payment processing - Fleet Support:
Assist the Automotive Fleet Supervisor with assigning replacement vehicles - General Assistance:
Answer incoming calls and provide staff support
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $46,827.00 (before taxes) - You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. - Three years of advanced clerical or para‑professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training
- An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience
- You must be in possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension
- You must be able to perform essential job functions
- One or more years experience reading auto repair estimates and service invoices
- You must pass criminal history and background investigations if you do not have a current Pennsylvania State Police background on file
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
