Job Summary – Baker
Reports to: Bakery Manager
Function: To produce all bakery goods of the highest quality
Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Work up and mix up products from recipes or prepared mixes
- Set ovens, bake product and monitor the baking process
- Operate and maintain all department equipment
- Determine quantities of ingredients needed to order
- Unload and verify deliveries
- Perform all functions of bakery clerk when necessary
- Constantly monitor temperatures in freezer and cooler areas
- Follow all company policies
- Perform other duties as directed
Early morning availability a must
Physical Demands- Work safely around ovens
- Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
- Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
- Lift cases/containers of product up to 30 pounds
