Job Overview
Production Technician in the Heat Seal Department at Stahls’ DFC (Decorating Fulfillment Center). Responsible for efficiently completing basic order fulfillment tasks, ensuring adherence to company policies, quality and safety standards, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with team members and provide assistance to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Keep management updated on department activities and promptly report significant issues, offering suggestions for improvement.
- Perform assembly tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow and uphold established quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
- Consistently meet project deadlines.
- Inspect work upon completion to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Take responsibility for any additional duties as required or assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area.
- Work alongside machine operators in a fast‑paced environment, gaining skills to operate machines independently.
- Operate heat press equipment as needed.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Prepare finished products according to customer specifications, including trimming excess threads, removing backing materials, and packaging the final product accurately.
- Flexibility to rotate between departments and assist on an as‑needed basis.
- Meets attendance standards and meets or exceeds attendance expectations.
- Ensure order fulfillment tasks are completed according to department standards and within set timelines.
- Achieve or surpass quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Maintain clear, effective communication and coordination with coworkers and management.
- Basic computer skills.
- Well organized and attentive to detail.
- Willingness to assist others.
- Ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the production environment.
