This position is responsible for proficiency of both the shipping and receiving functions throughout the facility. This is a 1st shift position with occasional mandatory overtime before/after the shift or on weekends depending on staffing and production needs.  This position does not have direct reports.  This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. This role is onsite at the Export, PA site.
** Scope of Position
** This position is responsible for the shipping and receiving functions throughout the facility.  This is a 1st shift position with occasional mandatory overtime before/after the shift, or on weekends, depending on staffing and production needs.

** Primary

Job Duties and Responsibilities
*** Responsible for handling all day-to-day shipping responsibilities including contacting carriers, completing RFTs, manual shipping, bulk shipping, and international shipments (documentation, AES, working with freight forwarders).
* Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.
* Operate a forklift or equipment to move products throughout the facility.
* Process orders based on customer and/or Quality requirements (preferred shipping systems, additional QA inspection, etc.).
* Provide shipping information support for Customer Service, including writing manifests for claims, filing claims, and providing freight quotes and tracking information upon request.
* Support the Materials department in maintaining all Country of Origin (COO) and customer spreadsheets.
* Perform daily audits of orders shipped through UPS World Ship and the QAD systems.
* Prepare shipment approval listing to comply with SOX requirements.
* Responsible for unloading and staging all inbound deliveries, including but not limited to purchased components, indirect material, returns, and equipment.
* Complete the receiving transactions for all direct and indirect material in the MRP system.
* Communicate and escalate Supply Chain issues within the Materials department.
* Maintain an accurate kanban system for specified parts.
* Pull samples for Quality Assurance review and put parts following inspection, including delivering to point-of-use when needed.
* Coordinate with the Materials department to schedule inbound deliveries as needed.
* Document and report on any Overages, Shortages, & Damaged (OS&D) issues with deliveries.
* Responsible for using the FIFO (First In
- First Out) material handling system.
* Maintain 5S in designated areas.
* Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Company management.
* Responsibility directly tied to Watts Values (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency).
** Required Qualifications
*** High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
* Proficient computer user.
* Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
* Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
* Must be able to obtain a tow motor license and operate all tow motors within the plant.
