MACHINIST – TOOL MAKER / MOLD MAKER

Location:

MOLD TECHNOLOGY CENTER at VICTAULIC GLOBAL. Headquarters (EASTON, PA).

Reports to:

GROUP LEADER.

• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators and all common machining tools.
• Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Set up and operate machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures.
• Maintain specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.
• Write and edit G code and M code programs as required.
• Operate 3‑axis vertical CNC mills.
• Operate CNC mill lathes and turning centers.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment using preventive maintenance.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

• Experience in rubber mold building preferred but not required.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects and with machinery with moving parts.

• 2+ years technical schooling preferred.
• 5+ years on-the-job experience preferred.
• High school graduate will be considered.
• Able to work well with others.

Day shift: 40 hours. Overtime as required. Job type: full‑time, permanent.

Schedule:

four 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Thursday.
