Schedule: 2nd

Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm, 8-hour shift, may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business
Weekend availability in season with specific mandatory Saturdays as needed

Location: Northumberland, PA 17857 (must be able to commute or relocate)

Salary: Up to $19.56 per hour

• Operate the filler lines, keeping product within set specifications.
• Operate the closing machine, feed lids, and perform simple maintenance on the line.
• Clean the line properly, following all sanitation and safety procedures.
• Follow all GMPs associated with this position.
• Perform other jobs as requested by the supervisor.
• Record all documentation accurately, neatly, and timely.
• Operate efficiency systems on all can filler lines.
• Check can seams and codes on a regular basis.
• Account for any downtime.
• Know and understand all Critical Control Points for this position.
• Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating, and helping co-workers.

Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of the area supervisor or manager.

• Alert, aware, and able to multi-task.
• Particular in the cleaning of equipment.
• Accurate at recording records.
• Operate a basic scale efficiently and accurately.
• Basic math skills.

• Occasional to Frequent walking.
• Frequent to continuous lifting of 18½ lbs. lid sleeves (average 303 sleeves per shift); ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Frequent carrying.
• Minimal climbing and climbing ladders.
• Frequent working with arms extended at shoulder level or above.
• Frequent to continuous twisting and turning.
• Frequent to continual reaching.
• Occasional to frequent bending.
• Manual dexterity hand movements.
• Continuous operation of equipment (filler, closing machine, slicer).
