Forklift II - Milton, PA

You will be operating a forklift with care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job will involve driving around the plant floor and into storage areas to acquire material. You must be a responsible individual with experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal is to ensure that material and products are always at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

• Forklift operating skills to lift/pull/push materials onto forks from elevated heights; navigates throughout plant, including populated and small areas.
• Performs safety procedures (including wearing and securing harness).
• Read/interpret schedules/tickets.
• Use measuring tape to 16th.
• Must have the ability to work/maneuver at elevated heights up to 20 ft.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.

• Depth perception required.
• Climbing on and off the lift.
• Continuous exposure to jarring and driving over uneven pavement.
• Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip door skins (max. 50 lbs.), bending, lifting, and twisting.
• Picking up materials and disposing as necessary.

• Proven experience as forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Valid certification to operate forklift preferred.
• Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting working in a similar role.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
