Job Description:
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler exists to support the objectives of the plant and assigned areas in managing the 24/7 planning and scheduling of the craft personnel and maintenance work throughout the facility.
This position will plan, organize, coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects or project assignments utilizing in-house maintenance personnel, outside contractors or vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Project lay-out/scope of work
- Purchase of needed parts and/or materials from bill-of-material
- Basic specification and design and development of prints
- Submittal of contract bids for quote and award
- Facilitate daily work assignments and projects for maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure the tasks are performed to high-quality standards in a timely manner
- Provide daily schedules, step-by-step plans and equipment outage schedules
- Provide detailed, step-by-step plans, parts, and materials to the Crafts & Schedulers
- Coordinators and contractors which will allow them to efficiently complete their work
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution
3 years’ experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
