As a Traveling RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing, you'll gain hands-on experience in advanced surgical environments known for their collaborative practices and innovative leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment schedule (details provided during interview)
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- At least 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
- Proficiency assisting in complex cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing environments and protocols
- Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain and operate specialized CVOR equipment
- Ensure patient safety through vigilant monitoring and adherence to sterile technique
- Document all patient care accurately and promptly
- Support patient and family education pre- and post-procedure
