Overview

Find your calling at Mercy! Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Nurse works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Nurse will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel.

Details

Primary Care RN or LPN – Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine – Sullivan. 1326 South Service Road, West Sullivan, MO63080. Monday– Friday, no weekends or holidays. Must complete a minimum of three months of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid work‑from‑home schedule. After training, the role follows a 50/50 hybrid model: full‑time (1.0

FTE) co‑workers are expected to work on‑site five days per pay period and be available to attend monthly on‑site clinic meetings.

Education & Licensure
  • LPN: Diploma in Practical Nursing;
    Active LPN license; 2–3years of experience strongly preferred.
  • RN: Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, graduation from an RN program, bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN), or 4years of commensurate experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree;
    Active RN license; 2–3years of experience strongly preferred.
Skills
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
  • Timely and thorough patient triage skills.
  • Computer competency; most of the position will involve computer work.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization.
  • Adaptability in a new and changing environment.
