Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for market research and forecasting; drive continuous improvement of methodologies and insights.
- Lead development and maintenance of short- and long-term sales forecasts for inline and pre-launch products/indications within the IAI Franchise.
- Oversee creation of forecasting models/methodologies using statistical trends and performance metrics; analyze product performance, promotional activities, and market trends.
- Generate actionable customer and market insights to inform brand strategy; lead research on customer perceptions, usage patterns, market priorities, message development, and DTC investments.
- Establish and manage market research vendor relationships.
- Provide strategic leadership across Business Operations to align assessments and messaging; collaborate with Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, and Advanced Analytics for integrated insights.
- Support US leadership with analysis/reporting for Quarterly Earnings Call, Board of Directors, and Executive Team meetings.
- Provide competitive intelligence by maintaining knowledge of competitor commercial/development strategies and overseeing qualitative/quantitative research.
- Manage market research costs and ensure compliance with legal/regulatory/corporate policies for forecasting and analytics.
- B.S. in Life Sciences (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years' experience.
- Extensive pharmaceutical/biotech commercial analytics experience (preferred: market research/forecasting).
- Experience managing analytical/insights teams; strong communication/presentation to senior executives.
- Dermatology experience preferred.
- Ability to conduct primary/secondary studies and develop/maintain quantitative models.
- Familiar with prescription/medical claims data sources and IQVIA datasets.
- Breadth of forecasting experience; US and global market research experience.
- Preferred: product lifecycle planning and launch experience.
