External Job Description – Retail Grocery Associate (Inventory)
Job OverviewWIS seeks a dedicated Inventory Specialist to support a grocery retail partner. The role is part‑time with a starting wage of $17.00–$19.50 and offers productivity‑based wage increases up to $5.00 over the first six months.
Responsibilities- Count and record inventory accurately using handheld scanners or count tools.
- Follow a clear, consistent workflow and meet daily performance goals.
- Move between inventory locations, often walking or standing for extended periods.
- Assist with organization, restocking, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.
- Adhere to company core values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Experience preferred in retail, stock, customer service, cashier, sales, driver, or warehouse roles.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout shifts; comfortable using a ladder.
- Capacity to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
- Strong focus, detail orientation, and reliable attendance.
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
- No degree required; military experience and reliable transportation are valued.
- Prolonged standing and walking; use of hands and wrists for repetitive motions.
- Frequent low‑level positions such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching.
- Occasional ladder use and travel by car or plane, including overnight stays.
- Competitive base pay with productivity wage increases.
