• Checks vendors into the store upon arrival and out when leaving the store, handling product according to department guidelines.

• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

• Coordinates food returns to vendors for credit.

• Notifies department managers of their merchandise arrival and routes &/or delivers vendor freight to correct departments.

• Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Communicates rejections, shortages, etc. to department and GM teams.

• Cleans department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases; keeping products and supplies well organized.

• Maintains good communication with scan department to ensure proper pricing and signage.

• Operates equipment, if needed.

• Employee must be at least 18 years of age.

• Employee must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
