Store Associate Seasonal

Position Summary

The Seasonal Retail Store Associate position is a limited‑time employment opportunity to support increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day.

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues.
• Focusing on the customer with a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help in locating items.
• Accurately performing cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to build career development opportunities.
• Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on their feet for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly.
• Close visual acuity required for activities such as operating a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

20 hours per week (part‑time)

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 – $19.00 per hour.
