A Logistics Specialist concentrates on the enhancement of order fulfillment processes, resolution of customer challenges, and is a crucial element to the growth of our business.

As a Logistics Specialist you will:

• Work closely with our Customer Solutions team and retail store locations to enhance our customers' ordering experience
• Assess incoming customer orders and determine the most efficient fulfillment methods
• Provide friendly and empathetic communication, primarily through email, to customers on the status of their orders
• Assist in problem solving to satisfy customer order requirements and execute strategic solutions
• Communicate with internal and external sources, specifically with our vendors, distribution centers, and purchasing department, to ensure effective order fulfillment
• Assist with entering purchase orders for customized and special order items
• Monitor expedited shipping orders
• Coordinate with our retail store locations to complete online pickup orders
• Offer suggestions and methods to improve delivery and order fulfillment

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Past industry experience is helpful, but not required for this position.
