Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Mansfield, PA 16933

Overview:
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally you may work with other products in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
  • We provide paid training, delivered through live, hands-on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
  • Hallmark part-time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 9-12 hours per week

  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required

  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities

You'll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The duties include:

  • Day-to-day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and participate in required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: Hallmark's operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays, expect additional days and extended hours. You may be required to work on holidays, including weekends, during events such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day.
  • Department Resets: May involve installations and tasks such as building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance for remodels; evenings or weekends may be required.
  • One Team Vision: You are part of a network of merchandisers that often supports other team members in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job requiring energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs or ladders.

Qualifications
  • You're at least 18 years of age.
  • You can read, write, and understand English.
  • You have the ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • You have access to a Wi-Fi network and internet.
  • You have access to consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
