- Drive sales performance within the assigned geography using solution selling, territory management, and leveraging Zoetis resources.
- Meet and exceed overall sales objectives (quota) for key growth products.
- Launch new product and service offerings.
- Balance portfolio to ensure sales opportunities and achieve territory and business needs.
- Consistently demonstrate solution‑selling capabilities, build technical knowledge, and support veterinary practice expertise.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with hospitals, veterinarians, and other target accounts.
- Use consultative selling techniques to teach clients about their industry and offer unique perspectives linking Zoetis solutions.
- Develop and execute an annual territory business plan leveraging industry insights, SWOT analysis, strategies, and tactics.
- Implement SMART goals to support balanced performance across portfolios and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
- Use Zoetis resources, CRM, and other technology tools to maximize ROI and identify account growth opportunities.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with Inside and Digital Sales Manager to adjust strategies.
- Collaborate with Zoetis colleagues, ensuring compliance, integrity, work ethic, communication, and teamwork.
- Work in cross‑functional, virtual and in‑person environments to align with internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete product training and annual individual development plan.
- Accept and incorporate feedback, manage budgets, and use analytics for decision‑making.
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) preferred; associate degree required.
- Animal health experience and knowledge of veterinary medicine preferred.
- Experience in sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Strong solution‑selling, technical knowledge, and customer value delivery skills.
- Ability to build relationships with veterinarians, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork capabilities.
- Analytical mindset to use insights for decision‑making.
- Computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems.
US base salary range: $54,106 – $96,400. Compensation is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Benefits include healthcare and insurance from day one, a 401(k) plan with employer match, profit‑sharing contributions, and four weeks of vacation.
