The Corporate Director of Independent Living Sales is responsible for maximizing sales and occupancy goals for the Life Plan community-based independent living and market-rate housing, by directing the intake, lead management, benchmarking and sales process. This includes participation in the hiring, ongoing evaluation, training, coaching, and incentive program development of sales team. Provides onsite interim sales coverage as necessary with the support of the Area Sales Directors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • five to ten years of sales and sales management experience, preferably in a Life Plan or independent living environment
  • Prior lead management system experience and demonstrated proficiency in training, presenting and sales closing required
  • Must have experience with computerized systems and Microsoft Office
  • Must showcase exemplary follow up, communication skills, and professionalism
JOB

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
  • Hires, evaluates, trains, directs and coaches the independent living sales teams including support of market rate rentals to ensure occupancy goals are met
  • Works with Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Community Leadership to improve occupancy for campuses with significant Life Plan IL openings and ensure IL sales and occupancy goals are achieved
  • Works with Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Community Leadership to ensure successful pre-sale and fill-up of new IL construction. Provides direct sales participation for new projects or campuses with significant openings
  • Directs and oversees the effective use of PSL CRM by all sales team members
  • Develops and implements sales protocols and training modules when necessary for sales team member orientation, contract signing, and tours
  • Works with Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Campus Leadership to ensure Life Plan IL sales and occupancy goals are achieved
  • Works with Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Finance to refine financial application process to reduce financial risk and educate sales staff on the process to request exceptions and sales incentives
  • Works with SVP Sales & Marketing and Legal to refine contract addendum request process and educate sales team members on creative contract/addendum opportunities that may exist in lead conversions/community occupancy and the process to request exceptions and incentives
  • Helps the SVP Sales and Marketing to lead the Presbyterian Senior Living Census Development meetings and sales training
  • Works with SVP Sales & Marketing to identify and maintain appropriate partners and resources to ensure achievement of sales and marketing goals
