Base compensation: $125,000. Eligible for variable components that can bring the total target compensation to $200,000.
Job DescriptionTerritory Account Manager (TAM) will be the face of Heartflow within a specific geographic region. The TAM works with customers to ensure successful adoption of Heartflow’s non‑invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology, focusing on driving adoption through a network of referring physicians, supporting, educating, and providing solutions to build high customer satisfaction. The role is client‑facing and primarily spends time with Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and others, with approximately 20‑25% travel.
Responsibilities- Work with key strategic Heartflow accounts to drive growth and adoption of a cCTA and FFRct clinical pathway; develop and execute business development plans with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration throughout the organization; support deployment of internal leadership and physician mentors, organize and staff dinner programs, VIP visits, road‑shows, and office meetings.
- Increase Heartflow usage within designated key strategic accounts by:
- Maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and other key clinical stakeholders.
- Educating customers on Heartflow’s value proposition through presentations and discussions with referring MDs.
- Promoting and championing Heartflow to build advocacy.
- Achieve performance in active/targeted accounts by:
- Meeting or exceeding quota for the strategic account.
- Growing cCTA (conversion of non‑invasive tests) and FFRct penetration/case growth over baseline (percent and ) in assigned accounts.
- Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement.
- Account development experience building and supporting strong clinical programs is preferred.
- Clinical/technical proficiency: quick learner able to grasp new clinical/technical information and disseminate to customers.
- Develop relationships with key account stakeholders, including admin, key cardiologists, referring practices, hospital marketing, and strategic personnel.
- Work cross‑functionally to coordinate field and HQ resources.
- Customer‑focused mentality.
- Ability to explain medical technologies to referring physicians and health care professionals.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology is preferred.
- Self‑motivated and able to initiate, organize, and complete projects.
- Excellent problem‑solving ability, especially under pressure.
- Extremely strong work ethic.
- Works well in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Ability to work effectively with customers from a wide range of technical and clinical backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional etiquette.
- Experience with or similar CRM.
- 4‑year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or 2‑year degree with 7+ years of related experience.
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing or Technical field is preferred.
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio‑pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software is highly desired.
- Experience with introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals is highly desired.
