General Function
The Optical Account Representative drives sales growth and achieves targets within an assigned territory of Licensed Operators. This role delivers the Brand Promise through strong service, strategic planning, and consultative partnerships. Success is achieved by optimizing call frequency and executing standards for distribution, training, productivity, and merchandising to support sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Territory Performance- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, including revenue, pricing, distribution, and door productivity.
- Increase product adoption, optimize sales mix, and maximize profitability across the territory.
- Retain and grow existing accounts through consistent engagement and strategic support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs), delivering needs‑based solutions and issue resolution.
- Build strong relationships and tailor selling approaches by segment and business model.
- Accurately document all customer interactions in CAMS.
- Use CRM tools, reporting, and analytics to plan activities, monitor performance, and achieve goals.
- Develop and execute effective call plans, including quarterly visits to all customers.
- Create and implement account plans leveraging company programs to drive ROI and growth.
- Partner with lab teams, customer service, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain regular alignment with TVP, Franchise Business Consultant, and Eyecon Frame Account Rep.
- Provide consistent performance updates with actionable insights.
- Deliver product and brand training using approved materials.
- Promote Leonardo training adoption and support ECP confidence in key products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Vision X POS systems, supporting launches and training.
- Apply coaching feedback to improve performance.
- Ensure product distribution and merchandising align with brand standards.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify risks and opportunities.
- Utilize tools, samples, and resources to strengthen customer engagement.
- Participate in required training, meetings, calls, and regional events.
- 5+ years of direct sales experience with proven success.
- Ability to carry sample bags (25+ lbs).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and relationships.
- Experience in training and merchandising.
- Strong problem‑solving and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight (up to 100%).
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.
- BA/BS degree.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
