This position involves overseeing a team of Automotive Sales Consultants, ensuring all customers' needs are met, questions answered, and concerns resolved throughout their entire purchasing process.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Train and mentor automotive salespeople.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and high morale.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and track progress towards these goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns promptly.
  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles by asking questions and understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Present and demonstrate new and used vehicles to potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage inventory levels, coordinating with the purchasing department to ensure an optimal selection of vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor sales and profit margins, implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Qualifications:

Experience and

Education:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive sales management, with a proven track record of success.

Leadership and Management

Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and developing sales personnel.
  • Ability to set clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable.

Sales and Customer Service Expertise:
