- Make routine repairs and adjustments to facility, production machines, and equipment systems
- Completes routine electrical repairs and general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.,
- Disassemble machinery and equipment and, under instruction, replace worn/faulty parts and reassemble
- Requisition s and/or purchases parts, supplies, and materials
- Maintains machine shop tools and equipment
- Tracks and records work history and maintains inventory of parts and supplies on a daily basis using a CMMS
- Creates work orders for planned and unplanned work using computerized maintenance system
- Estimates job material requirements and costs
- Make, layout and fabricate drawings for the replacement of shafts, spare parts, brackets and other additions for plant equipment.
- Prepares work area prior to beginning and after completion of job
- Reads and maintains accessible blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, etc.
- Work extended hours and on weekend shifts as needed
- May lead and train other personnel as assigned.
- Use considerable judgment to be able to diagnose problems.
- Work is performed under supervision of higher- level trade supervisors or management level personnel.
- Follow all Lock-Out / Tagout requirements and Safety Procedures.
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Must have 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role
- Trade or vocational school graduation preferred
- 1 year
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Working with and be able to interpret drawings and specifications as well as fix gauges.
- Some basic electrical experience as well as general and technical maintenance, hydraulics, pipe fitting and general machining.
- Principles and theories of a specialty craft with skill and ability to accomplish routine tasks
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Practical mathematics (arithmetic, elementary algebra, plane and solid geometry, trigonometry)
- Read and understand manuals, specifications, drawings, and blueprints
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Be able to use a variety of precision instruments and judgment.

Third shift 10:30pm-7:00am Sun-Thurs, with training on first shift to start - Located in: Lancaster, PA
