Job Overview
Flee Tec Trainee – DOT Management Level, Individual Contributor. Flexible work option; can work remotely but must reside within the specified city, state, or region. Travel required 100% of the time.
Responsibilities- Attend four weeks of full‑time classroom training at the Academy Campus, with travel, lodging, and meals paid by the company.
- Receive a variable hourly base rate of $13.70–$20.53, with additional compensation possible (commission, incentives).
- Earn a weekly stipend of $250 (taxed) during the training period.
- After training, work hands‑on with a Lead Technician in your market, performing preventive maintenance and general repairs onsite at customer locations.
- Participate in periodic additional classroom training as needed throughout the multi‑year program.
- Week 1: $13.72 per hour (or state minimum wage, whichever is higher).
- Weeks 2–7: $19.00 per hour.
- Second class at Indy: $19.00 per hour + $250 weekly stipend.
- Upon graduation from the program: $21.00 per hour.
- Strong desire to pursue a career as a Diesel & Trailer Technician.
- Willingness to study hard and devote four weeks away from home for full‑time training.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required).
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; at least a three‑year Medical Vehicle Record review.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Successful completion of a DOT‑regulated background screening and DOT physical.
- Valid DOT medical card with at least four months remaining, or a DOT physical if less than four months remaining.
- Ability to operate an iPad and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
