HVAC Technician

This role focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems across a variety of equipment and facilities. You will independently service and maintain systems such as RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and VAV systems while delivering high-quality workmanship and professional customer service. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to read and work with electrical and control circuits, and clear communication with customers and team members.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Service and maintain a wide range of equipment, including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, refrigeration systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and VAV systems.

Troubleshoot electrical and control circuits to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.

Read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical schematics and refrigeration diagrams.

Communicate professionally with customers to explain findings, repairs, and recommendations in a clear and respectful manner.

Document work performed and maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Work safely and independently in the field while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and adherence to safety procedures.

Participate in an on-call rotation averaging approximately 2–3 times per year to support customer needs outside of standard hours.

Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors as needed to resolve complex issues and support team objectives.

3–5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.

Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems.

Experience servicing RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and VAV systems.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for HVAC, electrical, and control systems.

Experience working with electrical schematics, refrigeration practices, and control circuits.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to safely perform job duties and understand technical documentation.

Ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.

EPA certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality workmanship in a commercial HVAC environment.

Comfort working in commercial and industrial properties with a variety of HVAC equipment.

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation approximately 2–3 times per year.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
