The Lehigh County Aging and Adult Services is looking for a caring and motivated Aging Case Aide 2 who enjoys helping older adults. This position supports older adults by gathering information, assisting with program applications, and helping connect individuals to community services. Your work ensures consumers receive accurate guidance and timely referrals. As an Aging Case Aide 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Referral Processing: Record new referrals and update consumer information received from phone calls and other sources
- Call Screening: Identify needs during incoming calls and provide information or referral guidance
- Form Assistance: Help consumers complete program applications and determine eligibility for benefits
- Information Gathering: Interview individuals to collect details needed for services and document case histories
- Community Outreach: Participate in wellness fairs and assist with special events and holiday programs
- Record Management: Maintain accurate data and organize daily information for the intake unit
- Full‑time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60‑minute lunch
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable

- One year as an Aging Case Aide 1
- Two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training
- You must meet the PA residency requirement
- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lehigh County. If no eligible candidates who live within Lehigh County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered
- You must be able to perform essential job functions
