Senior Software Engineer

QVC Group is a Fortune 500 company with six leading retail brands: QVC®, HSN®, Ballard Designs®, Frontgate®, Garnet Hill®, and Grandin Road®. This role supports QVC and HSN as a Senior Software Engineer.

This position is remote. Candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered:
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.

• Perform complex coding and configuration to meet documented needs and requirements, using a variety of procedures while considering multiple interfaces and system interdependencies.
• Lead development of design specifications for the team within the defined architecture, using standard procedures and techniques.
• Define and maintain standards for the team's support, installation, and operating procedure documentation.
• Facilitate design and code review sessions, fostering an environment that encourages consideration for improved design and code quality.
• Identify opportunities for technology consolidation and improvements to legacy systems to increase stability and availability.
• Lead feasibility analysis for new systems.
• Drive technology strategy and execution efforts to improve overall developer experience and productivity.

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a record of delivering complex software systems.
• Expertise in modern frontend engineering using Type Script, React, Next.js, .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, and UX-focused development.
• Experience designing scalable web applications and responsive user experiences.
• Experience with software architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise application design.
• Experience building and integrating APIs and backend services using .NET, Type Script, Node.js, and Python.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and observability tooling.
• Experience in platform engineering or internal developer tooling.
