Overview
Now hiring School Bus Drivers in Washington, PA proudly serving McGuffey School District. As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.
No experience as a bus driver is required. We're proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed.
- Drive students to and from school on a split shift (early morning before-school pickup and after-school drop-off).
- Maintain a guaranteed minimum of 4 hours per school day with no required night or weekend work unless you choose to take it.
- Accept additional hours through trips and charters when available.
- Big Bus: $118.50 per day / $29.63 per hour
- Minibus: $110.50 per day / $27.63 per hour
- Unlit Van: $93.93 per day / $23.48 per hour
- $3,000 sign-on bonus
- Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits plus 401(k) retirement savings plans (benefits offered may vary by location or CBA)
- No experience necessary; paid CDL training
- Child-Ride-Along Program
- Are 21 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Are returning to the workforce or seeking a second job
- Are retirees or looking to start a new career
- DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana
