Fueler Washer
Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will fuel, clean and safely prepare vehicles for the road, greet customers and provide excellent service.
Main Responsibilities- Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience while you fuel and wash vehicles
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to ensure tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are completed
- Ensuring facilities are clean and safe for our customers and associates
- Building skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and preventive maintenance repairs
- Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and comply with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other established information
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct tools, PPE, and machine guarding
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- Driving Penske and customer vehicles requires a current driver qualification file for the role; includes annual MVR check, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History, and for CDL holders a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
- Willingness to work required schedule, location, complete background screening, drug screen, physical, and potential travel for training
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods during scheduled work
- Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, or otherwise operate required tools or controls
- Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
- Work safely in all weather conditions
- See and hear to safely navigate the work environment amid large truck movement
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally; push/pull truck tires regularly that exceed 100 lbs
