The Role at a Glance:

As a vital member of the Plant Operations management team, the warehouse supervisor is responsible for the people, processes and systems that ensure accurate delivery, receipt and storage of warehouse items. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that standards of quality, health, safety and freshness of all products are maintained. This is a working supervisory position requiring hands‑on performance of the day‑to‑day tasks of the warehouse staff.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping)
  • Is responsible for the overall organization of the warehouses and warehouse teams by making sure members are regularly briefed, supervised and trained.
  • Is responsible for providing performance feedback and disciplinary actions when required
  • Ensure accurate real time inventory of all finished goods and components.
  • Maintains computerized warehouse and inventory control systems and ensures all warehouse equipment is kept in good working order.
  • Investigates and reports all discrepancies, damages and returns.
  • Perform other duties and cross training as assigned.
  • Manages the creation of an effective nest run pallet list that integrates proper inventory management with daily quality and production requirements.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping)
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams
  • Prepare performance reports and track KPIs
  • Resolve operational issues and improve workflow efficiency
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of warehouse equipment
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts
  • All issues or non‑conformance related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be reported to the Quality Assurance Manager or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.

  • Egg processing experience preferred
  • 2‑year associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of warehouse experience, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software
  • Understanding safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor and motivate people.

Hours:
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
