Warehouse Technician - Evening Team

Weiler Abrasive Group is currently seeking Warehouse employees to join our team!

Starting wage based on experience.

Evening Team Hours Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m.

- 11:00 p.m.

• Safely operate material handling equipment such as electric pallet lift, forklift, swing reach, order picker and hand pallet jack.
• Unload overseas containers with and without lift equipment.
• Operate radio frequency control devices in order to process material through the warehouse management system.
• Pack product in the appropriate size container reducing head space within a shipping container by cutting down flaps when needed.
• Maintain a minimum average efficiency to meet job standards.
• Detect defective materials or questionable conditions and report to Advisor.
• Maintain cycle count accuracies at a predetermined level by reporting irregularities and making necessary adjustments when appropriate.
• Maintain In-House and Shipping Accuracies error rates to be meeting or exceeding the established rates as it relates to producing high quality service to internal and external customers.
• Coordinate all shipments as necessary to meet specific customer ship dates through the use of Weiler’s or customers’ preferred carriers.
• Utilize computer software and hardware effectively.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly, following the 6S Cost Reduction principles of Standardization, Waste Elimination and Housekeeping.
• Work overtime when needed and work as a team to support departmental and corporate goals and meet customer expectations.

Desired 6 months to 3 years experience in a Warehouse Environment.
