Accounting Specialist; Healthcare

KG Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting for an Accounting Specialist with accounting experience in a medical facility or other healthcare environment. Candidates must have intermediate to advanced Quick Books Desktop skills and be technically savvy.

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining financial records and processing Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable in a timely, accurate manner. This position also ensures the accuracy of financial data while supporting organizational accounting and administrative functions.

• Maintain accurate and up to date financial records for the organization.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree in accounting or related field plus five (5) years of bookkeeping, AR/AP, or related accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accounting experience in a medical facility or other healthcare environment.
• Intermediate to advance Quick Books Desktop experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to successfully complete background check(s) and a pre-employment drug screen.

Travel/commuting between Lancaster and Kershaw during business hours is required
