Passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with exceptional needs? Extraordinary opportunities await skilled Special Education (SPED) Teachers to serve across multiple school sites near Lancaster, SC. This contract position supports a diverse student population, from PreK through high school, with a variety of classroom settings to fit your expertise and interests.

Your assignment will run from now until the end of May 2027, working a consistent weekly schedule of 3537.5 hours. With roles available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as PreK, educators here have the chance to work in moderate settings, co-taught resource rooms, and multi-categorical self-contained classrooms. This is a unique setting to collaborate, grow, and see measurable student progress.

What

Youll Bring:
  • Active South Carolina SPED Teacher License (Multi-cat certification or required endorsements required)
  • Prior experience in Special Education settings and comfort with moderate and multi-categorical classrooms
  • Adaptability and a collaborative approach when working across elementary, middle, high school, and PreK environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to support diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, engaging, and empowering classroom environments
  • Willingness to work onsite (virtual options may be discussed closer to the start date)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individualized instruction in small groups or one-on-one, adapting curricula to support unique student needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Maintain and monitor student IEPs and documentation
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and team members
  • Assist with classroom management and implementing behavioral strategies

This role offers competitive compensation between $40 and $50 per hour, reflecting your dedication and specialized skill set.
