Service & Parts Operations Assistant

This unique, hybrid role bridges the gap between our Service and Parts departments. You will be the ultimate team player—ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience, keeping our service lot moving efficiently, and helping our parts department maintain a highly organized warehouse.

Customer Experience & Service Lane Support:
Guest Hospitality: Warmly greet customers arriving in the service drive and direct them to their Service Advisor.
Shuttle Driver: Safely shuttle clients to and from their homes or workplaces while their vehicles are being serviced.
Amenities Management: Keep the customer waiting lounge welcoming by stocking the coffee/refreshment station and maintaining cleanliness.
Vehicle Preparation: Park incoming service vehicles in designated lot areas and pull completed vehicles back into the service drive for customer pickup.
Lot Logistics & Vehicle Care:
Valet & Detailing: Run customer and dealership vehicles through the automatic car wash; perform basic detailing or minor cosmetic touch-up work as needed.
Fuel Management: Keep service loaners, customer vehicles, and lot vehicles fueled up.
Diagnostic Support: Assist technicians and advisors by test-driving service vehicles to verify customer concerns.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean shop environment by sweeping/mopping the service lane and cleaning windows and doors as needed.
Parts Department & Warehouse Logistics:
Shipping & Receiving: Accurately check in daily received parts shipments against packing slips.
Inventory Control: Conduct routine bin counts, track inventory levels, and keep parts displays clean and organized.
Job Staging: Pre-pull and stage parts for upcoming scheduled service jobs to maximize technician efficiency.
Core & Warranty Management: Oversee the parts core return process and handle warranty call-backs/scrap parts disposition.
Tool Room Stewardship: Keep the specialized factory tool room neat, organized, and properly inventoried.
Hot Shot Driving: Drive the dealership delivery vehicle to deliver parts to wholesale customers and pick up urgent parts from other local dealerships
