Plant Accounting Manager – Cost & Operations Focus

Parcc Associates is representing a confidential manufacturing client seeking a high-impact Plant Controller to lead finance for a precision manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible role embedded directly in plant operations, partnering with leadership to drive profitability, performance insights, and strategic decision-making.

• Lead all plant accounting: GL, close, reconciliations, reporting
• Deliver monthly financial packages and variance analysis
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance
• Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet accuracy

• Manage standard costing, labor & overhead rates, and cost rollups
• Analyze scrap, yield, efficiency, and production KPIs
• Lead physical inventory processes and valuation accuracy
• Identify and quantify cost-reduction opportunities with operations

• Own plant budgeting process and monthly forecasts
• Provide risk/opportunity analysis and financial modeling
• Track results vs. plan and communicate actionable insights

• Advise leadership on pricing, margins, Cap Ex, labor, and investments
• Participate in production and performance meetings
• Translate operational activity into financial impact

• 7+ years progressive accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong cost accounting and inventory background
• Solid GAAP and internal controls knowledge
• ERP experience + advanced Excel
• Comfortable being hands-on while also providing strategic insight
• Willing to work fully on-site in a plant environment

• Prior Plant Controller, Assistant Controller, or Cost Accounting leadership experience
• Background in machining, metals, or industrial manufacturing
