Job DescriptionAs Director, you’ll lead our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This leader will be responsible for the strategic, clinical, and operational oversight of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care. The Nursing Director will foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- Oversee clinical operations, staffing, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration among nursing, therapy services, case management, and physicians
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction
- Develop, mentor, and evaluate nursing leadership and staff
- Monitor performance metrics including length of stay, readmissions, and functional improvement outcomes
- Implement evidence-based practices in rehabilitative nursing care
- Partner with hospital leadership to achieve strategic goals

What You Bring- BSN from an accredited nursing program (required)
- Master’s degree preferred or actively pursuing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2–5 years of leadership experience in a similar role
- Experience in operational management and healthcare marketing
