Job SummaryThe Digital Banking Technical Administrator will support the vision of Digital Strategy and Optimization for the organization. The Digital Banking Technical Administrator will be responsible for managing the components of member‑facing user interface of our Digital Banking platform. This will include vendors/products that utilize shared services with the Digital Banking platform. The ideal candidate for this role must be a strong collaborator who is a creative problem solver.
The role requires strong, proven technical aptitude. The Digital Banking Technical Admin must work directly with our Digital Banking vendor as well as Founders IT personnel to successfully implement and manage the front‑end web and app technologies. The Digital Banking Technical Administrator will oversee project management related to our Digital Banking platform. The Digital Banking Technical Administrator must have the ability to influence strategic initiatives while placing priority on positive member experiences.
The ideal candidate should also understand and foster interdepartmental relationships for the overall success of the Credit Union.
- Work with our Digital Banking vendor(s) in their development site to design, develop, test, maintain and enhance all custom applications in our Digital Banking platform.
- Troubleshoot system problems/issues and seek ways to optimize the application.
- Coordinate Digital Banking Product Releases to include Web and Mobile releases.
- Coordinate quarterly regression testing prior to scheduled releases to ensure integrity of system.
- Manage other Shared Service products that reside within the Digital Banking platform.
- Work with Founders IT and our Digital vendor(s) to build working knowledge of application architecture for supported products.
- Perform periodic software rollouts/updates to correct reported issues, development enhancements and compliance with third party applications.
- Notify and coordinate internal resources and communicate with the Digital Banking vendor when there are unplanned system outages.
- Responsible for seeking new ways to use the Digital Banking tools available to customized applications to enhance the member experience.
- Facilitate development sessions with vendors to identify and document specification requirements around future initiatives.
- Assume a Level 3 support role for any escalated digital issues.
- Participate in department team meetings and offer suggestions on Digital Banking projects.
- Effectively manage Digital Banking case tickets within the vendor’s Customer Portal.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and members using good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Assist with fraud detection and analyzing fraud patterns as needed for all fraud software.
- Adhere to all security policies and controls.
- Manage projects concerning the Digital Banking Platform.
- Update Digital Banking project management templates by working with the EPM team to identify potential changes and ensuring the changes are implemented across all necessary templates.
- Assist in the creation and execution of test plans for project implementations concerning Digital Banking Platform.
- Organize reports, invoices, contracts, and other Digital Banking project artifacts in Smart Sheet.
- Complete any necessary training activities to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Comply with Founders’ policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLB and BSA.
