Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for a Mon–Fri day shift position requiring ONS certification and strong IV skills in an ambulatory infusion setting.

• Ambulatory infusion unit with 10 infusion chairs
• Oncology infusion patient population with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Strong focus on IV therapy, infusions, and chemotherapy administration
• Monday through Friday day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00am–4:30pm)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Charting via Epic
• Free parking on site
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent or PRN staff within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration — RTO requests submitted afterward will not be accepted
• Online modules are required to be completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November, with peak activity in August and September), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

• Active SC RN license or Compact RN license with ability to practice in SC — candidates with a pending SC license will be considered, but must be fully licensed before starting
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ONS/ONCC, and a valid chemotherapy administration certificate
• Minimum 1 year of oncology infusion nursing experience required
• Strong IV therapy experience required, including starting and maintaining IVs
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
