Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology - Chemo Certified

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN with chemo administration certification for a day shift ambulatory infusion position.

Job Details

• Work in an ambulatory infusion center with 10 infusion chairs,

• Patient population consists of oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and infusion therapies,

• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3,

• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm,

• No weekend or on-call requirements,

• No floating required,

• Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required and must be able to practice in South Carolina,

• Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience required,

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required,

• Current ONS chemo administration certification required,

• Strong IV skills and oncology infusion experience required,

• Must provide SSN and driver's license for consideration,

• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility unless approved as a local at a reduced rate,

Additional Information

• Provide infusion and chemotherapy treatments to oncology patients,

• Royal blue scrubs are required,

• All required modules must be completed prior to start,

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position,

• Former staff must not have worked as permanent or PRN within the last year to be eligible,

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to approval,

• Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November),
