Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN for a Mon-Fri day shift position requiring ONS certification and strong IV skills in an ambulatory infusion setting.

Job Details

• Ambulatory infusion unit with 10 infusion chairs,

• Oncology infusion patient population with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio,

• Strong focus on IV therapy, infusions, and chemotherapy administration,

• Monday through Friday day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00am-4:30pm),

• No weekend or on-call requirements,

• No floating required,

• Charting via Epic,

• Free parking on site,

Job Requirements

• Active SC RN license or Compact RN license with ability to practice in SC - candidates with a pending SC license will be considered, but must be fully licensed before starting,

• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ONS/ONCC, and a valid chemotherapy administration certificate,

• Minimum 1 year of oncology infusion nursing experience required,

• Strong IV therapy experience required, including starting and maintaining IVs,

• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration,

• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent or PRN staff within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler,

• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized,

• Online modules are required to be completed prior to the start of the assignment,

• Royal blue scrubs required,
