- 97-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Epic charting
- Royal Blue scrubs
- Free parking
- 2+ years of recent ER experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license required before start date
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
Preferred
- TNCC
- Travelers must be willing to float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs or between similar units/sister facilities.
- 3x12-hour day shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
- Block scheduling may be requested before assignment but is not guaranteed
. - All requested time off (RTO)
must be submitted with the initial application and is subject to facility approval.
- Local radius:
60 miles - Local travelers may be considered case-by-case at $10/hour less than the posted bill rate
.
- Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks
.
Travelers should be aware that June through November is hurricane season. During this period, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams if needed. The highest risk months are August and September.
Ideal CandidateAn experienced ER RN who has:
- At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Active SC or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Epic experience (preferred)
- Flexibility to float within scope and work every other weekend
- Willingness to participate in emergency response during hurricane season if required.
