Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Med/Surg RN Opportunity

The Med/Surg RN will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a short-term acute care hospital. This role involves managing a diverse patient population on nights, ensuring safety, and adhering to all clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Complete all required training modules and participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license prior to start date.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Proven experience interpreting dysrhythmias and managing arrhythmias.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units or sister facilities.
• Must have traveled previously and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling.
