QA Auditor

Akkodis is seeking a QA Auditor for a direct hire position in Lancaster, SC. We are seeking a supplier qualification and risk assessment expert who understands manufacturing risk, supplier quality, and regulated production environments. The ideal candidate has the ability to walk into a supplier facility, assess what's happening in real time, and make sound quality decisions.

Pay Range: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per hour on W2;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Auditor job responsibilities include:

• Supplier Qualification / External Compliance (70%) includes:
  Supplier qualification program, supplier oversight, vendor approval, CMO qualification, contract lab qualification, and managing third-party audit resources.
• Auditing (30%) includes: supplier audits, CMO audits, contract laboratory audits, and third-party auditor management.
• Travel (20-30%) will be Domestic and concentration in:
  Utah, Kansas, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Travel is planned and flexible. Short-notice travel is rare.
• Southeast Asia audits are generally conducted by third-party auditors that this person will oversee.
• This is not a desk auditor role.

Qualifications:

• BS in a science or technical field
• 5-10 years of QA experience
• Started in manufacturing quality
• Supplier quality background
• Experience qualifying and auditing: raw material suppliers, packaging suppliers, CMOs, and contract labs
• FDA-regulated manufacturing exposure
• Comfortable traveling 20-30%
• Able to perform risk-based decision making

Nice-to-Have

Experience:

• Experience with:
  Qualityze, Track Wise, SAP, Electronic Batch Records, or Lens
• Experience helping to develop or optimize QMS workflows
