Victim Services Coordinator
Under supervision of the Captain of Corrections, work in compliance with Lancaster County Sheriff's Office policies and procedures; assists victims of crimes to ensure that all victims are able to understand and participate in the criminal justice process; follow protocol/initiatives/directives; review all reports and forms to insure completeness proper documentation and accuracy.
Examples of DutiesEstablish victim contact when suspects are arrested, transferred, or released from the Detention Center. Coordinate with the victim regarding any bond hearings or other court hearings to ensure that victims of crimes are able to fully understand and participate in the criminal justice process.
Coordinate appointments with attorneys and courts.
Typical QualificationsRequires a high school diploma or GED. Must possess valid S.C. driver's license
