Primary Purpose
The ACE Data, Media and Assessment Specialist supports campus academic improvement by coordinating assessment processes, managing student performance data,
and assisting staff in using data to inform instruction. This position works closely with campus leadership and teachers to ensure accurate reporting, effective assessment
administration, and data-driven decision making while also supporting campus instructional and media resources.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Accountability
Coordinate campus administration of state and local assessments in accordance with district and state guidelines.
Prepare testing schedules, materials, and staff training related to assessment procedures and security protocols.
Maintain testing documentation and ensure compliance with assessment policies and security requirements.
Monitor student progress toward state assessment readiness and campus accountability goals.
Data Management & Instructional Support
Collect, organize, and maintain student performance data from multiple assessment sources.
Generate reports and dashboards to support campus leadership and instructional teams.
Assist in facilitating data meetings and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) by providing relevant student performance data.
Support teachers and administrators in interpreting assessment results to guide instruction and intervention planning.
Assist with tracking and monitoring academic interventions and student progress.
Program Compliance & Reporting
Collect and organize required artifacts and documentation for quarterly TEA submissions and program compliance reporting.
Maintain accurate records to support campus program monitoring and accountability requirements.
Media & Resource Support
Assist with management and organization of the campus media center and instructional resources.
Support students and staff in accessing digital and print learning resources.
Maintain media inventory, circulation systems, and resource availability to support classroom instruction.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the campus principal or district administration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; degree in education or related field preferred
Valid teaching certification required
Experience working in an educational setting preferred
Strong organizational, data management, and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to testing security requirements
