City of Lancaster seeks an Animal Control Officer to enforce city and state animal care laws, and to impound, care for, and dispose of animals as appropriate. Investigates cruelty and promotes compliance with laws governing animal treatment.
Position requires patrolling to locate animals, issuing citations, transporting injured animals, and coordinating with police as needed. High school diploma or GED and valid Texas driver’s license are required.
