As we continue to expand our operations, we're searching for a skilled Critical Facility Engineer – Controls SME to join our team.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Lead SCADA & Controls Engineer to own the design, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our industrial controls platform across mission‑critical data center facilities.
This position is responsible for the complete controls technology stack—from field devices and PLC hardware to the Ignition SCADA platform, databases, networking, and operator interfaces. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable troubleshooting a communications issue on a managed switch, modifying PLC logic, configuring an Ignition Gateway, or training operations personnel.
This is not a traditional PLC programming position. We are looking for a systems engineer who understands how all components of a modern industrial controls system work together.
Primary Responsibilities- Ignition Platform Administration
- Configure and maintain Ignition Gateways
- Develop and support Vision and Perspective applications
- Configure OPC‑UA device connections
- Manage Tag Providers and Tag History
- Configure Alarm Pipelines and notification systems
- Create reports and dashboards
- Develop Gateway scripting using Python/Jython
