About the OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst who enjoys turning numbers into practical business decisions.
In this role, you'll use supply chain data to help improve demand forecasting, inventory levels, supplier performance, and day-to-day operations
. You'll work closely with teams across Planning, Sales, Operations, Service, and IT to identify trends, solve problems, and create reports that help the business make better decisions.
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands how supply chain works in both manufacturing and distribution environments and is comfortable working with large amounts of data.
What You'll Do- Analyze supply chain data from ERP and other business systems.
- Help improve demand forecasts using sales history, trends, and business data.
- Partner with Demand Planning to improve forecast accuracy and product availability.
- Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Analyze inventory levels, availability, and inventory turns.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Identify trends or issues related to demand, inventory, suppliers, materials, purchasing, and costs.
- Investigate supply chain problems, determine the root cause, and recommend solutions.
- Work with IT and business teams to improve data accuracy and reporting.
- Turn complex data into clear, easy-to-understand recommendations.
- Support projects focused on improving supply chain processes and efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, demand planning, materials planning, sourcing, or a related area.
- Experience working in both manufacturing and distribution environments
. - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, STEM, or a related field.
- Good understanding of demand planning, inventory management, supply chain processes, and ERP/MRP systems
. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
. - Comfortable analyzing large datasets and explaining what the data means to the business.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical teams.
- SQL and/or Python experience.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting and demand planning methods.
- Experience with supply chain planning or forecasting software.
- Experience supporting S&OP/ESOP processes.
- Experience with inventory optimization, supplier performance, forecasting analytics, or data quality.
