Position Summary
Provide overview of the role and organization. This position leads a logistics area team, executing operations plans, improving processes, and managing staffing, workload and performance to achieve business goals.
What you’ll do- Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, associates and other stakeholders.
- Plan, forecast and execute for staffing, workload and performance for the area of responsibility.
- Prepare and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements in production, quality and safety.
- Monitor compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures and directives.
- Resolve associate, customer and supplier concerns using judgment or by consulting others.
- Supervise and develop associates, leaders and managers, providing direction, feedback, training and development opportunities.
- Recruit, hire, promote and coach associates and leaders.
- Build high‑performing teams that embrace diversity, support belonging and empower employees.
- Act with integrity, ethics and compliance, holding oneself and others accountable.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results while keeping the customer first and using data-driven decisions.
- Strive for continuous improvement, adopting new technologies and encouraging learning from mistakes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Operations).
• 1 year supervisory experience in an operations or logistics environment OR 3 years supervisory experience in a similar setting.
• Proven ability to manage workload, develop managers/associates and participate in hiring and promotion.
• Financial modeling and analysis

• Experience as a Walmart Logistics Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management or Operations
